iWhat the Youth Fund is for
The Youth Fund accumulates from a percentage of turnover net of tax in every market, set aside before any costs are paid. Beyond acting as a financial buffer, it is intended to fund youth and junior elite golf development in every market where G3 operates — supporting coaching, equipment, and tournament access for young players in the local golf community.
A further idea under consideration is an exchange program between markets: junior elite players from one country (for example Africa) would get the opportunity to travel and compete in another G3 market (for example Spain), funded from the pot. This would strengthen ties between markets, support player development, and build goodwill with the clubs G3 partners with.
No fixed allocation has been set yet — the figures below show the total pot accumulated per market and combined. As the model matures, a defined share of the fund could be earmarked specifically for youth development and exchange travel, separate from the portion retained as a financial reserve.
